The Sweet Cocoon - In memory of Marlowe Treglown May 21, 1994 - Aug 20, 2012
Amanda Treglown Bohannon
Amanda Treglown Bohannon,
Executive Director
The vision for The Sweet Cocoon was inspired by Amanda's daughter Marlowe.
Amanda is a registered nurse in ICU West at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, GA. She has also volunteered her time with the Make A Wish Foundation and the Fragile Kids Foundation and has assisted with other charitable events while working at Redmond.
Amanda is married to David Bohannon. She has a daughter Allison Foster and stepsons Alex and Brad Bohannon. The Bohannon's have four legged family members as well, Grace, Silas and Callie.

Dale Treglown,
 President
Dale is a veteran of the US Army, serving for 22 years, retiring as a Master Sargeant. Dale graduated from Pepperell High School before joining the Army.  Dale is married to Penny Haney Treglown and they reside in Silver Creek.
Dale is the PawPaw of Marlowe, Allison, Cody, Brook, Brad and Alex.
Dale has been a devoted PawPaw, and was especially helpful with Marlowe. The Sweet Cocoon is very near and dear to his heart because he has seen first hand how having a special needs child effects an entire family. He's been an unsung hero behind the scenes during many hospital stays and always been there to help no matter the need.

Allison Foster,
Vice President

Allison Foster is a recent graduate of Coosa High School. She is the sister of Marlowe (the inspiration for The Sweet Cocoon).  Allison brings a unique view to our board in that she has grown up being a sibling to a child with special needs.  Allison is the board's "Director of Sibling Services", because she has lived it.
She loves children! She has volunteered two of her previous summers at local hospitals and enjoys working to make this foundation grow.

Pam Treglown,
Board Member
Pam is a retired elementary educator spending my 34 years teaching 3rd and 4th grade.  She attends Plainville Independent Methodist church where she is the pianist, the Christmas program coordinator, and performs many other tasks where in a small church you wear many hats.  She volunteers at Tolbert Elementary School where her oldest daughter Stephanie teaches.  She also volunteers with Christmas in July where they try to give families a jumpstart on the school year.  Her youngest daughter, Megan, is a senior at Jacksonville State University, and she is a proud Grandmom of Caden and Callie.
This is the day the Lord hath made.  Be glad and rejoice in it.
